The territorial scope of the professional liability insurance extends to all professional acts in Germany and to non-litigious (i.e. extrajudicial) acts within the entire European Union.
The basis for the billing of fees for extrajudicial and judicial activities is the German Lawyers’ Fees Act (RVG) or an individual fee agreement to be concluded in the individual case.
